Funen Printmaking Studio is a private institution for printmaking artists from all over the world. We have approximately 300 members from 20 different nations.
The printing process is magical and attracts curious people. Our members strive to master the magic each and every day. We have two studios and a gallery located nearby the house of Hans Christian Andersen in Odense, Denmark. In the studio there are different options for working with techniques such as intaglio, etching, relief, linoleum printing, woodcut, photogravure and lithography on a stent printing press. The studio is only used by our members and guest artists.

The Printing Presses
The Funen Printmaking Studio have four printing presses in the workshop in Hans Jensens Stræde:
We have a beautiful old Krause lithographical press from Leipzig, which measures 118 x 75 cm with additional lithographic stones in different sizes and weight classes.
Our large press for dry points and etchings is a Peter van Ginkel from the Netherlands, which measures 110 x 190 cm. This is the largest size we have.
On the 1st floor we furthermore have two printing presses: A nice press from Polymetaal from Holland, which measures 60 x 120 cm, a new Polymetaal 80 x 130 cm, and a beautiful small 40 x 80 cm Goya with a very charming sound from the chain.
