The Viggo Forting Grant is awarded every year at the beginning of May, if possible on Viggo's birthday the 9th of May. Viggo was one of FPS's most significant members of a lifetime.

The grant has been established in honor and remembrance of the artist, man and comrade Viggo Forting. The legacy is a travel grant and can only be applied for by a professional printer who is a member of Funen Printmaking Studio. The grant is 5.000 DKK and May 2018 was the first time it was awarded to an artist. The grant obliges the receiving artist to do a travel report either in writing or visual character, and 2 prints must be given to Funen Printmaking Studio.
