Since 2019 we have had an Artist in Residence program in our house in Hans Jensen's Street 20 in Odense in Denmark. Here are two small rooms on the first floor, and a kitchen and a bathroom on the ground floor. We receive applications for stays of one week up to 3 months. There is no deadline.
We want to give foreign printmaking artists the opportunity to work in our studios, and to develop talented graphic artists. We welcome guest artists from all over the world. Unfortunately, we do not have the means to make the stay expense free for the artist.
The expense for one month is 5.000 DKK and 1.000 DKK for a studio Card, in all 6.000 DKK.
Vores tilbud til gæstekunstnere er 5.000 kr. og 1.000 kr. for at værkstedskort, i alt 6.000 kr. for en hel måned. Kunstneren skal kunne arbejde selvstændigt i værkstedet. Man kan søge om tilskud til sine rejse og opholdsudgifter hos kunst.dk
For medlemmer
Fyns Grafiske Værksted har tre udvekslingsaftaler for medlemmer. Hvis du har lyst til at arbejde med grafik andre steder for at lære nyt, kan du sende en begrundet ansøgning om at komme til Atelier Circulaire i Montreal, til Künstlerhaus Lukas i Tyskland, ListGraFO på Færøerne, CASA i Oxaca i Mexico, eller til Mältinranta i Finland.

Regulations
No smoking in the room or in the workshop. Smoking is allowed in the yard.
Quiet after 10 pm
Laundry: There is a laundry machine available in the yard. Washing and washing powder/detergent is free.
Ventilation: Open a window to air out the room at least once a day, turn off the heating when airing out. Note: not all windows can open.
Temperature: Max 19 degrees Celcius in the room
Please no barbecue or candles
No animals
No guests unless agreed upon arrival.

You can lend towels and linen.
Funen Printmaking Studio have three exchange programs for members only. If you want to work with printmaking elsewhere to learn new methods, you can apply go to Atelier Circulaire in Montreal, or to the Künstlerhaus Lukas in Germany, or to Mältinranta in Finland. Please write a reasoned application telling us why you want to go, before January 15, 2025.
